Mobile Development & Hotaru CMS

Interested in knowing more, can Hotaru CMS be used for mobile app development? Not sure if this even makes sense, would a mysql database from a Hotaru CMS environment be of any use towards mobile applications?

I don't know much about about mobile development and would like to get some dialogue from the community.

Can you be more specific about what you mean by 'mobile development'?

There is already a Mobile plugin that formats a Hotaru site for easy viewing in a mobile browser.

Do you mean could you use it to create an Android or iPhone native app?
Android uses SQLite databases I think, no idea about the iPhone.
Otherwise the easiest way to create an app from a Hotaru site would probably be to import the RSS feed for stories.
