Just Installed - Cannot Sign into Admin Login

Hi, I saw threads like this elsewhere, but they were kinda hijacked so I'm starting new. I just did clean install of Hotaru w/ rss, and when I reach login screen I enter data in, press submit, and am returned to same page. I tried chrome, firefox, and IE, so I know its not a cookie problem on browser side. Hope I can get some help as I just installed and want to punch out some template code asap!

I was able to login by changing haccess_Default to .haccess, I don't remember reading anything like this, perhaps instructions can be made clearer.

Friendly URLS
If you want to use friendly urls, rename htaccess_default to .htaccess, and edit it according to the instructions within the htaccess file. Then go to Admin -> Settings and change the "friendly urls" setting to true. Now I know when I did a fresh install, I changed to friendly URL's prior to doing the above. :eek: I'm guessing you did the same.

This was my first time ever installing this software (and I look forward to using it); but no I was simply trying to login to admin for the FIRST time and it did not work following instructions to the T. So, no it wouldn't be obvious to change the htaccess as I wouldn't have reached the pretty url option. Just seems for the software's sake might as well include instruction to activate htaccess if others are running into problems as I did.

Same problem here mate.Server meets requests,changed .htacces and everithing but it still loops back to the login page without loging in.
Any sugestions?
