I want to Host one Site Using hotaru but Before hosting I have some question.

1. Can I Make hotaru site like feed Aggregation (Using Cron Job and RSS Feed Importer)
2. What is the minimum interval time we can set on cron job.
3. Where We can Buy Premium hotaru theam
4. Who is the best hosting Company Providing Starter Plane with Unlimited Bandwith.
5. What is the Basic Problem of Installation.

We Found hotaru is best social bookmarking Open Source and People can make best site using hotaru

Hello,

Here are some answers that might, or might not help.

1. You can make Hotaru act as an aggregator with the use of plugins or by writing your own PHP script to read from a source and write it into the database.
2. The minimum interval time for any cron job is 1 minute.
3. There are a few places to purchase premium Hotaru themes, such as http://www.hotaruthemes.com/. Sometimes you can even find people who would be happy to build a custom theme (for a price, of course).
4. There are no hosting companies I know of with true "unlimited bandwidth". Most hosts will start to ask questions when you use more than 50GB per month. If you want maximum flexibility for the best price, you may want to go with something like Amazon's AWS service.
5. The most common problems I see when people install Hotaru for the first time is they either do not have httpd.conf configured correctly, PHP does not have all the required libraries, or the Database is not configured properly. So long as you follow the instructions one by one, you should be good.

One more question do u have some list of site they are using hotaru.

I don't have an active list of sites powered by Hotaru, no, but you can find most of them through Google with a query like "by Hotaru CMS" (with the quotes). That will return a list of several hundred sites using Hotaru.
