A little bit more information would be very useful!
What CMS are you running on it?
Should the contents of your site be integrated with hotaru? Or do you want to erase the old site and start from the begin with hotaru?

Hi Hoaruuser,
the site is running ckeditor, and codeignitor.
I would like to install a better editor that can see all the entries that have been made on the site.
The site is weeklyspecials.co.nz if you want to have a look at it.

Do you mean codeigniter? If yes, its not a cms, its a framework...
... Its not quite clear, what you want? A editor is for editing a text, not viewing entries?
Who wrote this site for you? Can't you ask him to extend your site? Would be the easiest way

I want a CMS that will give me more control over the site, so i can add give users as many days of use that i want, and a whole host of other stuff.
A group of chinese coders wrote the site, and the editor they installed is too limiting, which is why i am looking for another CMS. I'm also looking for a coder to help finish the site, but thats another story.

If you want your new site to have all the articles from your site now, you have to hire someone to make the work. I do not think there is any easy way to convert all the articles in to the new cms, because you are not using a popular cms, its self written.
If you want to know, if hotaru CMS is the right one for you, I recommened to install a new version on a test server, so you can try it yourself. If its ok, then you just have to find someone who can import your site into hotaru.
