What means Popular? Upcoming? Latest? New? Top?

Can you clarify to me what are the meaning of those definitions?

What is Popular?

What is Upcoming?

What is Latest?

What is New?

What is Top?


And how a post walks throught those definitions.

A post is "new" until it is "top"ped from Post Manager or gets enough votes (default:5).

Popular: Most voted top posts for the last 1/2/7/30/365 days
Upcoming: Most voted new posts for the last X days (Default: 5 days)
Latest: Latest submitted new posts, regardless of their votes, ordered by submission date
New: Same as latest
Top: Same as popular
All: Top or new posts, regardless of their votes, ordered by submission date

So popular means most liked posts among those selected by the admin or exceeded a threshold.

P.S. This behaviour can be changed by editing BookmarkingFunctions.php

I have been autofeeding my hotaru for some days.
All autoreader submits are "New" and get 1 vote from me.

I noticed that my "Upcoming", "Latest" and "All" sections have the same posts at the same order.

Is that right?

Because all of your posts have only 1 vote that's right. After 5 days, if they still have 1 vote, the order will not change again, but older posts will be omitted from upcoming list.
