I've started adding tickets on Assembla (https://www.assembla.com/spaces/HotaruCMS/tickets?batch=false&tickets_report_id=0). I've seen in the past how a forum can fill up with bugs and support requests which are unanswered or forgotten. While such things can be posted in the Support (http://hotarucms.org/forumdisplay.php?f=5) forum, we should treat the Assembla ticket system as the official list of bugs and must-do's.

I propose any bugs we find, whether in these forums or through our own experiences are posted to Assembla as tickets and assigned to someone who can fix or at least investigate them.

Great decision.

Bug fix request can easily pile up in a forum. I was wondering if Assembla has the capability to rank bug tickets by priority? Example - performance - security - critical - nuisance etc.

Not by names, but they prioritize by number, 5 (lowest) to 1 (highest). They leave priorities out of the default filter so I've made a new filter called "All Tickets with Priorities" which I've grouped by status and set as the filter you see when you go to the tickets page now.

I just discovered that email alerts for tickets on Assembla are not on by default. To turn them on, click the "Stream" tab, then "Change alert settings" in the right-hand sidebar.
