Extended Profiles

I think it would be useful for administrations to have an easy away of extending user profiles fields, can this be done through a plugin? This would be really helpful! I believe?

Earlier we talked about making different profile plugins, but in the end I incorporated profiles into the Users plugin.

However, I've tried to make it as easy as possible to customize them, either with your own plugins or a few template edits.

I'll write up some proper documentation soon, but here's a quick example of how you could add a "website" field to a profile page:

As for an "Extended Users" plugin, that's still possible. It would simply be a plugin that does the above for a number of pre-defined fields.
