Hotaru v.1.0.1 contains numerous bug fixes and database changes since v.1.0 was announced (http://hotarucms.org/showthread.php?336-Hotaru-CMS-1-0-Available-for-Testing).
If you are new to Hotaru, see that post (http://hotarucms.org/showthread.php?336-Hotaru-CMS-1-0-Available-for-Testing) for details on how to get Hotaru CMS from the SVN.
If you are already using a copy from the trunk:
- update to the latest revision (#935 as I write this)
- run the upgrade script ( /install/upgrade.php )
- upgrade the Vote and Comments plugins (turn them off and back on again with the green button!).
There are no changes to the hotaru_settings or htaccess files.
Here is a list of all the changes since Hotaru 1.0:
- [FIXED] Avatar class was outputting empty HTML when no user ID was given
- [FIXED] Extended plugins didn't have their language files included
- [FIXED] Posts abandoned during submission were blocking new posts with the same title
- [FIXED] Notice messages from the Vote plugin were showing in the wrong place
- [FIXED] Backslashes were showing before apostrophes on servers with magic_quotes_gpc enabled
- [FIXED] Missing parameter in sendConfirmationEmail function
- [FIXED] The auto-vote value for a new post was getting assigned to the post
- [FIXED] New posts with auto-vote equal to or more than front page requirement weren't getting promoted
- [FIXED] There was an undefined method error in the access_denied template
- [FIXED] Smilies weren't showing in the Comments widget
- [FIXED] There were undefined variables in Tweet This and Submit Light
- [FIXED] The avatar of the last person who commented was showing on all comments
- [FIXED] CSRF hadn't been updated in two places since Hotaru 0.9
- [FIXED] HTML wasn't working in post descriptions
- [FIXED] The selected category in the category picker wasn't urldecoded in edit_post.php
- [FIXED] The Stop Spam plugin wasn't adding spammers to the Stop Forum Spam database
- [FIXED] Fetched post titles in submit step 2 were showing HTML entities instead of quotes
- [FIXED] Database problems with default user permissions and settings
- [NEW] Changes to Avatar class to provide an alternative way of getting avatars
- [NEW] Submit Light plugin that removes the preview step (step 3) from post submission
- [NEW] Changes to the PostVotes table to allow for possible "star rating" vote plugins
- [NEW] Hotaru version number added to the footer (if Debug is enabled)
- [UPDATED] Carlo has updated his "Keep It Simple" theme
