What I was trying to do:
I spent over half an hour trying to debug a plugin because the avatars wouldn't show...

Why it wouldn't work:
I hadn't installed Gravatar! :o

Hehe, I did it again.

What I was trying to do:
Write performance tests to a speed.txt file, but the file wasn't being created.

Why it wouldn't work:
I hadn't enabled Debug mode! :o

P.S. Jon, you're talking about those yummy jelly beans, right? For the first few hours after reading your post, I was imagining an old man's fat, floppy belly! I haven't seen those Jelly Bellys since the '90s !
