If you've been following my Hotaru blog (http://hotarucms.org/blog.php?u=1), this release will come as no surprise, but I added a couple of other features which you might not have been expecting. Here's the list of main changes since 0.3:
Hotaru Core:
- Complete rewrite of the user login and authentication process
- Upgraded to the latest version of Inspekt (http://code.google.com/p/inspekt/)
- Moved Hotaru's custom Inspekt methods into a dedicated file
- Moved the main classes into a dedicated classes folder
- Added HTMLPurifier (http://htmlpurifier.org/) to the 3rd_party folder for use with Inspekt
- Pagination has been fixed and made prettier
- Plus other minor changes to support various plugin updates
Hotaru Plugins:
- New Pligg Importer (http://hotarucms.org/showthread.php?t=82) plugin to allow Pligg users to switch to Hotaru CMS
- New Gravatar (http://hotarucms.org/showthread.php?t=83) plugin for user avatars
- Updated Categories (http://hotarucms.org/showthread.php?t=71) to include a horizontal drop-down menu option
- Updated Submit (http://hotarucms.org/showthread.php?t=54) with post editing, breadcrumb navigation and options for the number of posts on a page and which HTML tags to allow in a post description.
- Updated Categories and Tags (http://hotarucms.org/showthread.php?t=76) for better post filtering and breadcrumbs.

As with any alpha project, you will quite likely uncover bugs or unexpected behavior. Please report these in the appropriate Support (http://hotarucms.org/forumdisplay.php?f=5) forum so we can squash all the glitches and make Hotaru a solid and secure platform to build amazing websites on.
