One of the more pressing plugins that I need to convert for use on the SVN 1.0 branch is the Users plugin, but that's quite a big job and not one I really want to tackle until after Christmas. So instead, I've converted two other plugins which were considerably easier! Tweet This and Category Manager join SB Base, SB Submit and Google Analytics as the first 1.0-ready plugins. You see, I am getting there!
In the Hotaru Plugin Documentation, there are two case studies. The first shows you how to make a simple "Hello World" plugin, and the second goes through the steps needed to turn that plugin into a sidebar widget. I've now made a start on a third case study, one that I'm updating as I actually build a new plugin.
