    RPX rocks. If you don't know what it is, take a look.

    I've been using RPX on my site, JapanSoc.com, for over half a year, and despite some early teething problems it has been great, both for convenience and reducing spam.

    Now that Hotaru is in beta, I'm looking more towards moving JapanSoc from SWCMS to Hotaru, and that means somehow, magically, maintaining all the user ID mappings between my database and the RPX server.

    Building a JapanSoc theme for Hotaru CMS

    I decided the best way to focus on the most essential needs for Hotaru is to start copying my JapanSoc theme across. I'll post screenshots when I've got a bit more done, but right now I've managed to copy the headers along with the fonts, colors, and other site-wide CSS thingies.

    Earlier on in Hotaru's development, I made it so templates, CSS and JavaScript files would always be pulled from the user's theme folder before the plugin folders. Until now, I hadn't really tested it, but ...
