Dear hotaru community,
I have a question and an issue with my page load time combined with auto reader plugin.
Let me first describe the situation:
So far I have setup 8 campaigns (and I plan to add a few more) in auto reader plugin. Those campaigns and feeds are checked twice daily (more often would be better) by cron plugin. This works all fine.
The issue I have is that feeds I am reading with auto reader are quite big and those are posted on the website with the next page view after the sheduled cron job has past.
This causes the first page viewer after the sheduled cron job a heavy page load time of around 60 seconds. After these "first" page view the site performs quite well again with around 0.3-0.7 seconds.
I would like to ask the community for suggestions on how I can improve these situation to keep away the heavy page load time after the first page view.
I hope I could describe my issue, well enough to get your help.
And if I understand right how the cron plugin works, to have a different time shedule for every campaign instead of having all cron jobs sheduled at the same time will not help because the cron job will only post to page after first page load.
thanks for your help in advance.
