Problems on installation step 3

I#m getting following eror messages on step 3 of the installation:

Requirements

Hotaru CMS has been tested using PHP 5.2.5 ~ 5.3.2 and MySQL 5.0~

My Version is 5.2.0-8+etch16. So I'm afraid it does not? Is there an older Version I can try?

I'm afraid not. PHP 5.2.5 was released in 2007, so it's pretty old as it is.
