script errors when posting - is it timing out?

A few times now I've hit post after taking my time to work on a story only to see script errors and my story lost.

Is there any reason I shouldn't try to let my users take a long time to create their stories?

If I recall correctly, you have 60 minutes to submit a post or comment. After that, tokens used to prevent CSRF (cross-site request forgeries) expire and the user will see an error notice.

If you want to change that, you'll have to edit the core Hotaru.php file. Line 1664 in Hotaru 1.4.2 - change the default value of $life.

Thanks for the tip. BTW should it be a friendly script error? What I get is the "error on line ? in file ?.php" variety. I'll pay more attention should it happen again.
