Some Updates

Hi,

I know Hotaru is basically dead at the moment, but I'm actually getting a pretty nice response on my Hotaru driven site. So i would like to know if anyone could suggest some upgrades they would be able to do for me OR if they would be able to move my site over to Plone.

Willing to pay some buck of course.

Hi icde... What do you mean by "Hotaru is basically dead at the moment?" I'm new to Hotaru and even though it's relatively young, I think it's a wonderful CMS with great potential. I guess that's why I'm surprised, puzzled to hear that...

I'm not talking about the community. If you take a look at some of the other posts you'll notice that it's not being officially supported anymore, which means no more core updates etc...as far as I know.

Thanks for an update icde... I found another thread started by nothingman "So what's next for HotaruCMS?" I suggested that we pull together and figure out what to do to get Hotaru going rather than porting sites to other CMSs. I've toyed around with a lot of CMSs and Hotaru is extremely modular and easily the most flexible one I've ever used. It'd be quite a shame if the community let it sink...
