Blank screen on setting page when saving

I'm trying to update the site e-mail right now on the setting page in the admin cp.

When I select save I get a blank white screen

Any advice?

I'm using 1.1.1 latest download.

That's very odd, and one I haven't heard before.

Hmm...

if you have a .htaccess file, remove it for now.

If you have any plugins enabled, turn them all off.

I'm assuming you can't save anything on the Settings page? Or is it only the email field? If the latter, enable Debug mode so errors will show on the screen. Otherwise, see if there's anything in the error_log.txt file which might be in Admin -> Maintenance.

Hmm, did you set permissions on all the cache folders to 777?

Clear all cache folders in Admin -> Maintenance.

Hi Nick thanks for the fast reply.

The cache folder and it's contents are set to 777

I don't have a .htaccess file it's still named default.

Currently I cannot save anything within the settings page. It's all bringing me to a blank white screen.

Perhaps I have the permissions wrong somewhere? Even if I don't change anything and hit save I get a blank white screen.

More importantly, clear all the cache folders from Admin -> Maintenance

Hi Nick I have confirmed I have cleared all the cache files.
