I searched around but didn't find an answer.. is there an easy way to disable the html cache for the admin pages?

I don't think anything in admin uses the HTML cache. What don't you want cached?

The plugin settings page for 'user manager' and 'post manager' - I find that when I move a story from 'pending' to 'new' it sometimes shows up in filters for both categories until I purge the html cache. In user manager, I'll killspam users and they still show up as pending.
Please go to Admin -> Maintenance -> Debug and email me a system report. Thanks.

sent! thanks
Hi Cecil, I'm struggling with this one because I can't duplicate it at my end. The HTML cache is not used although the DB cache is. That caching uses Hotaru's smartCache and automatically updates itself when a database table is updated, e.g. when changing a user role or post status.
At the moment, all I can advise is to upgrade to Hotaru 1.2. If the problem still exists, then we can at least rule out the many, many changes made between 1.1.4 and 1.2. It's hard for me to test things when I'm on the latest version and you're not. Thanks.
