I get the same syntax error in the language cache, but haven't found the cause yet. It seems to be a temporary glitch during creation of the cache file, but once populated with all the language it seems to cure itself until the cache is rebuilt again. I'll keep looking for it.

Nice catch with the autoreader/cron issue.

Edit : Found one other problem, upgrading for me resulted in all cron entries for the autoreader plugin disappearing from the cron plugin. Going into each autoreader campaign and re-saving it seems to restore the job. Default hotaru daily crons were still there.

Thanks. This was an error on my part. I set cron to put in those 3 default jobs when it got installed. Since you need to uninstall and reinstall for upgrading the plugin, this would have cleared the other settings when it inserted the 3 default jobs. Sorry. I will fix and make sure the next version of cron solves this.

Finally got around to doing the upgrade tonight. Everything went fairly smoothly for me, however the upgrading of plugins doesn't seem to work, as it tells me it can't unzip. I haven't searched here yet to see if anyone else has had that issue. It was nice that at least I knew which plugins needed to be upgraded fairly easily. Thanks again for another smooth update, and the interface changes are pretty nice.

Great to hear things went smooth on the upgrade. As we release new versions we are trying to keep things operating as smooth as possible so you should have no downtime to your users.

The unzip problem will be to do with file group ownership settings on your server. There are currently three cases
1. server setup so file writing and file overwriting works fine.
2. Server set to allow new file but can't overwrite existing ones
3. Server won't let files be written at all

Looks like you are in case 2.

I am working on a way for FTPing files from the icon repository server to host servers and have tested this as working. This solves part of case 3 but still leaves the unziping which is the problem for case 2 as well.

Am working on this and will try to update with either hotaru 1.4 or if not by 1.5
