I think most websites could benefit from this?
I'd like to see this feature, but down the road - after a 1.0 release.
Is anyone interested in working on this? I've got some ideas, but not the skills to do it myself.
Some things I'd like it to have are:
Approved only users can add events to the calendar (over X number of posts/ admin approved list or something)
Customizeable "required" fields. For example, I need "dates", "name", "venue", "organizers" and optional thumbnail, link.
Also, it would be great if in the calendar, a user could tick "favourite" or "reminder". Then on the user's profile page on a section viewed only by him, he could see a list of the events he's particularly interested in. Or in the calendar he could filter by his own favourites.
And also, he could set it to "reminder" and he could get a reminder in his PM box X days before the event.
This would be really, really useful for my site.
Good 2 see more people interested in this plugin. Kyan your suggestion are very good. I think the Cron Plugin would work in sending out reminders.
Anybody wanna have a kick at this?
