    I'm having the same problem without the "post images" plugin or modifying the code and here's a screen:

    Ah, someone else is having this issue! I didn't say anything because I figured it was something that I did wrong. But yes, I'm having this issue as well.

    I'll have a look at this issue when I have time. Can someone link to a site experiencing the problem to make debugging easier?

    Thanks mabujo. Here's my link (I'm using thumbnails for related posts). [STRIKE]I think this hasn't got to do with the CSS for related posts.[/STRIKE]

    I think I experienced the same issue, and resolved it by just making each object there the width of that section of the page. Probably not the correct solution, but it worked :

    I think this was the line :
    .related_posts_link { display: inline; width:460px; margin-left: 0.5em; }

    I recently began receiving many errors sent to me via email from my hotaru cms website, http://fashiun.com . the errors are copy and pasted here:
    SQL query:
    SELECT *, MATCH(post_title, post_domain, post_url, post_content, post_tags) AGAINST (%s) AS relevance FROM hotaru_posts WHERE post_archived != %s AND post_id != %d AND post_type = %s AND (post_status = %s OR post_status = %s) AND MATCH (post_title, post_domain, post_url, post_content, post_tags) AGAINST (%s IN BOOLEAN MODE) ORDER BY relevance DESC LIMIT 5

    PHP error log:
    You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '%s) AS relevance FROM hotaru_posts WHERE post_archived != %s AND post_id != %d A' at line 1

    Can someone help figure out what the problem is. I am not very well educated regarding Mysql.

    Is there a way to show related posts by categories or something else rather then tags?!

    I did this with Title, instead of tags. I'm looking now to remember wtf I did. I believe this is it, in related_posts.php

    Code:
    	    // make the title a space separated string
            $tags = str_replace(', ', ' ', $h->post->title);
            $tags = str_replace(',', ' ', $tags); // if no space after commas
            $remove = "And|Or|If|We|An|A|I|the|is|are|top|-|:";
            $tags = preg_replace('/[^a-z0-9_](?:'.$remove.')([^a-z0-9_]|$)/i','$1',$tags);
            $tags = trim($tags); // remove any spaces at the start and end

    		/*
    		$tags = explode(',', $h->post->tags);
    		$count = count($tags);
    		if ($count > 5) { $tags = array_slice($tags, 0, 5); } // restrict to first 5 tags only
    		foreach ($tags as $key => $value) { $tags[$key] = trim($value); } // trim whitespace from each tag
    		$tags = implode(' ', $tags);
            */

    I still think would be nice to be able to show them by category as well...
