Hi Everyone, I am working on a new theme and want to find out if we are trying to standardize on a certain CSS framework or at this point we are open to what just works?

    I like blueprint CSS - http://www.blueprintcss.org/

That being said I have never used a framework for CSS in the past but for something like this I think it would be the way to go. I just want to see what the community direction was on this topic before I set out i a different direction

    Thoughts?

    Hi Bill_C
many themes and the actual default theme of Hotaru (1.4.1) are based on 960 grid system.
Simple and powerful, to use, edit and customize; you can find more information here:

If you want to actually write less css use : http://lesscss.org/
I was thinking that I should write something to enable Hotaru to use that kind of css writing.
But then I thought "nvm, just write the lesscss file, generate a normal .css and forget it".
There is a PHP version here : http://leafo.net/lessphp/

Another vote for 960GS. I found it easy to learn and get used to in a short period of time.
